We are onboard a cruise ship and, of course, taking part in all the activities! The first night we went to Family Karaoke. One of our kids volunteered to sing and was very happy to find “12 Days of Christmas” on the list. He silently practiced the lyrics and was READY… or so he thought…

The version that showed up was the Andy Williams version (A Song and a Christmas Tree). It was deceivingly titled as “12 Days of Christmas! He sang from memory the version he knew because the lyrics were not matching up! He got lost momentarily. The accompaniment is vastly different from what he knows to be in the song and he was singing solo. The COURAGE he showed though… I came to help in the end. I planned to get him on track for the #12 day. Even I got lost in the accompaniment!
