Uke Around The World

I use Disney movies to teach the kids about characters, plots, and setting – to tell a story. In the last year and a half, we have visited 18 countries. I play movies for the kids set in the country we are living. When we set up in Paris for a month, we watched

-Ratatouille

-Hunchback of Notre Dame

-Beauty and the Beast

-Cinderella

to name a few!

We also watched “Aristocats.” We really enjoyed the song where all the cats are playing in a jazz band in an old, rickety house. The scene is chaotic (which my kids enjoy!) and they play so loud that they fall through the floors of the building!
